Recent Purchases (Beauty & Skincare)

A few products and things i've brought recently,

I'm really impressed with the Hot cloth cleanser i use it every morning and every night, i'm really starting to see results my skins really soft, and not just for a few hours but the whole day i really like this product plus it helps to wake up in the morning. (bonus) I haven't yet used the Garnier body replenishing lotion i only picked it up yesturday so i'm looking forward to seeing that i've heard great things about it if you have dry/combo skin.

The LOreal sculpting spritz and the Tea tree cleansing pads are okay, but not great. The spray doesn't hold for very long at all, after less 30 minutes my hair went back flat, it really didn't hold well, and the cleansing pads are quite strong and harsh on your skin, they did break me out so won't be using them again.

Oilatum face cream is amazing! I really love this product, i don't use it every day just when my skins dry i put it on at night then when you wake up in the morning the difference in my skin is amazing, this was a re-purchase aswell as the Pai skincare hydrating day cream once again a great product definatly worth it's £19 price tag as it lasts me around 2-3 months.

I really love the Mac studio sculpt foundation I brought it at online at the same time as buying the Bare Minerals original loose powder foundation Bare minerals original powder foundation i have to say i'm not that impressed with the Bare minerals powder foundation, i find it cloggs up the skin, i might buy a different brush and see if it makes a difference but i'm really not liking it at the moment, shame because at £23 it's not cheap either, definatly won't be re-purchasing. 

Finally just two Barry M nail paints i picked up 303 bright purple and 293 grey, haven't tried this colours before so looking forward to using them tonight! :)

London Blogger's Meetup

Last Saturday the 10th, i attended the London blogger's meetup, which was so much fun and i met some really great people! :) First of all i want to say a HUGE thank you to the lovely Emma for organising everything! :)

The amazing and oh-so yummy cupcakes some of the bloggers made!

We also had a goodie bag full of lots of lovely goodies each!

Some gorgeous Lush products, Twlight bath bomb, It's raining men shower gel and sparkle toothy tabs!

Finally we all had a few goodies from Temporary Secretary I had a really cute little stag ring and glasses necklace, (which i now wear all the time!)

Then the lovely Emma from Frank PR came to talk to us and brought us all Frozen Yogurt from Pinkberry and a gorgeous necklace, for each of us from Fashion Union!

 

and yes it did taste as good as it looks! :)

Then we all just had a huge chat and lots of laughs!

Bohoboho

Hey everyone! I hope you're all well :)

Today i wanted to do a post on a really adorable website called bohoboho they sell amazing jewelry and scarfs for such great prices! I was lucky enough to be sent a scarf and a set of three bangles from them. :) Ive been wearing the bangles ever since they arrived!!

How beautiful are they? I love the scarf its great to put with a plain tank top, to make it look less boring! I love the colours and design its lovely to wear if its cold for a bit of colour or if its warm for a little cover-up :)

The bangles are amazing! I can't tell you how impressed i am with them, the patterns and quality of them is outstanding, you can wear one on its own or to make a statement all three together, the great part.. they are only £6 for all three!

Revlon & Shoes

I popped into boots yesterday just to use my points, and noticed that Revlon were on offer (3 for 2) so i thought i'd get a few as they also have a few new colours out..

I love how Revlon have names for each polish un-like a few brands they only use numbers, i brought Sunshine Sparkle and Blue Lagoon as they were new colours and picked up the amazing blackest black (i use this for all my nail designs, like black dots, lines ect.) Really looking forward to trying the new colours out! I just want to add, my new pair of shoes from the Next sale arrived today, and yes... i LOVE them!

They may look high, well they are but the most important thing is they are so comfy! Plus because they have a chunky heel they are pretty easy to walk in, i always prefure chunky heels to little thin ones that look like they might snap at any minute haha! (knowing my luck) Anyway I hope you're all having a great weekend! xo

Battlefront Series 3

Hey everyone, so today this is a totally different post than normal, ive been really excited to share this with you for a while now, and finally today.. I CAN! :)

Ever heard of a TV show on T4 called Battlefront well this year it's series 3, and i was lucky enough to head down to London the other week and meet the presenter and a few of the production people who help make the show happen! Right first of all here are a few pictures that i could take whilst i was there the other week and asked the lovely presenter Mawaan a few questions about this years show...

 Tell us a bit about the show?

Battlefront is a project that follows a group of young

campaigners trying to change the world.

You can keep up with their progress on the website, twitter, tumblr and on T4 when our TV show is on, and in the real world by coming to one of the amazing events we'll be running in the coming weeks and months.

What can we expect from this series?

You can expect to see loads of funny moments, heart warming experiences, incredible journeys, passion and young people going out there to campaign for causes they believe in.

Are you surprised at how determined young people are today?

Young people are far more strong willed and enthusiastic than adults give them credit for. I'm totally impressed, but not at all surprised!

  

What benefits do you think people can gain by working with teens and young adults?

I think that adults can see the world from a different light by working with teens, it works both ways, we can learn a lot from each other.

Silver Service Jewellery

Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a good weekend! It's really warm here in England today, so really i should be outside enjoying the sunshine, but i really wanted to write this post :)

Ive been really kindly Sent two bits of Jewellery from Silver Service Jewellery, i'm so excited to share them with you because they're so different and right up my street!

These are the two beautiful pieces!

Firstly we have the Angle wings necklace, this is actuatly carved out of bone! The work and detail thats gone into the necklace is incredible, i really love it!

Secondly is a gorgeous cotton bracelet with a small peace sign, the great thing about this is its one size fits all as you can adjust how big or tight you want it, this is a great everyday item, i'm sure i'll be getting a-lot of wear out of it :)

My Week In Pictures

1. Ive been walking Roxy a-lot more recently, she loves it! It's just annoying how she doesn't even look tired! At this point i felt DEAD. haha!

2. Only one sunny day this week (but then i do live in England) spend the day in the garden reading Glamour magazine with the free Benefit goodie, i picked High-beam, ive been using it pretty much every day since i got it, i really like the glow it gives to your cheek bones, might grab another one before they're all gone :)

3. Pepper and onion salad wraps, ive been in the mood for these all week so i made some this evening, so glad i did! YUM!

4. I went for a really nice meal with my Nan and Gramp and my Brother the other day, this was just a quick picture that i decided to take before we headed out. I had such a lovely time, great food and great company couldn't ask for more! :)

Cherished Trinkets

Firstly WOW it's been way too long since my last post, I hope everyone's well :)

Todays post is on a site called Cherished Trinkets i was kindly sent a two lovely handmade items, right now for some pictures..

In love? YES.

How beautiful is this Alice in Wonderland charm bracelet, It's just so detailed, its lovely. Every single time i look at it, its like i find another beautiful little charm everything from a little "Drink Me" bottle and Red Roses to a Little Spoon and Pearls. This would be great for a treat for yourself of even as a gift to a friend or loved one, I really is a beautiful handmade piece! (I can't stop starring at it) Every single time i wear it i get compliments and people saying "Wow that's so different" " I love your bracelet" I couldn't love this any more than i do, the colours, just everything is perfect! Check them out girlies remember everythings handmade :)

Now the second piece... How creative is this girl? I mean seriously it's such an adorable little piece, on the necklace is a small postcard with "I love you" written on it, next to the postcard is a small Pearl and a Flower, it really is a vintage inspired necklace, I wear it all the time, I cannot say how much i love Cherished Trinkets head over to the website and have a browse at all the information and beautiful jewellery, I think there's something on there for everyone! :) xo

Haha, really had to add this in.. I put my glasses (that i hardly ever wear) on Roxy and she actually wouldn't take them off, i went to get the camera to take the picture and she still hadn't moved, It makes me laugh every time i see this now! xo
