Style Icons

Style Icons, everyone has different people they look up to style wise, wishing you had the same look and fashion sense as them. I look to a lot of bloggers for ideas on how to style different things but actual style icons I always think to these three women:

1. Fearne Cotton - From her hair and make-up to her figure and style, simple outfits jazzed up with loads of jewels, effortless style. Fearne's collections for Very never fail to amazing me her own style, but for everyone to share and have a piece of.

2. Alexa Chung - I adore Alexa's pale skin, green eyes and brown hair. Her fresh faced look, with simple outfits. Blazers, jeans and shirts she always seems to turn such dull items into an amazing outfit.

3. Kate Moss - The bold style of Kate Moss. (not to mention her incredible figure) Red lips with show-stopping outfits to die for! Steal part of Kate's style by just buying a lipstick from her range by Rimmel, or check out Mango for affordable clothing, Kate's style and modeled by herself.

Those are my three main style icons. Who are yours? xx

Topshop Wishlist #02

I'm back! I've missed blogging a lot lately so I'm glad to be back into it. I thought to ease myself back in I'd start with a Topshop wishlist as I enjoy looking around and seeing what's new in at the moment.

1. I love this dress, the colour and the lace (a big favourite of mine) with the white collar, would look great during the day with little boots or flats or in the evening with heels and an over-sized clutch.

2. A pack of four gorgeous dainty little rings, can be worn together on different fingers or just one at a time, I like how you get gold, silver and a black coloured one in this instead of them all being just the one colour.

3. White lace socks, worn with little ankle boots with the lace trim poking out of the top or with heels to give a different look, really sweet and a great little change to an outfit.

4. I already buy way too many nail varnishes, but this colour is a gorgeous metallic blue and compliments the dress with the little white lace socks perfectly.

5. A light pink lipstick to just finish the outfit off and make you feel more 'done' I really love the names of Topshop's lipsticks this one being Pillow Talk.

Anything you have your eye on in Topshop at the moment? xx

My Favorite Red Lipstick

Around this time last year i would of never worn really bold bright coloured lips out, but now i can't get enough of bright pinks and reds. I find it really hard to find a red lipstick that suits my skin tone because i'm pale most tend to make me look very gothic.

My favorite lipstick brand by far has to be Mac, i love the wide range of colours and shades they have, something for everyone yet the red shades never really suited me from there so i always just stuck with the pinks.

Had a look around Boots a few weeks ago seeing what to spend some advantage card points on, i was determined to find a red lipstick that would suit me. It took me a while and about eight swatches later i came across Revlon Fire & Ice, as soon as i swatched the colour i knew i loved it. Couldn't wait to try it out when i got home, and ever since i tried it on i haven't stopped wearing it! It's by far my favorite lipstick at the moment. It lasts really well, even eating and drinking didn't budge it.

Not the best picture because it was taken with my phone, but this is the lipstick on to to give you an idea of what it looks like. :)

It retails for £7.49 from Boots i used my advantage card points but i will definitely be repurchasing this and maybe even a few different shades. xxx

Topshop Wishlist

One - These topshop wet look leggings are amazing, they'd go with so much, definitely a wardrobe staple.

Two - Again just a basic vest top, i think this would look great with high waisted shorts also tucked into bodycon skirts aswell.

Three - I adore these wedges! The colours go together really well. Wedges are my best friends, height and comfort, yes please! :)

Four - My obsession for rings continues, i don't own a ring stack though so this is something different for me, i love how you get both gold and silver not just the one colour.

Five - I'm forever painting my nails, i love this nude colour for spring/summer. I like the idea of pastel nails with nude coloured tips, might give that ago.

Six - Finally this necklace, layering necklaces is great and this has already done it for you, really into the cross design really simple but really shows up.

So much i like in Topshop at the minute! Anything caught your eye? xxx
